I was born and raised in Adelaide, the daughter of Greek migrants. My grandparents worked on produce farms in the northern suburbs. I studied graphic design through a Bachelor of Media Arts. Multimedia was just emerging in the early 2000s, and I spent 16 years building a career I loved.

Life shifted when my partner’s job moved us to Melbourne. The first year was tough—new city, no friends or family—but it was the best decision. Melbourne offered energy, culture, and opportunity. I continued working as an art director until 2020. I didn’t stop—I was stood down during COVID, but worked full-time until July 2023.

Quietly, something else had started growing. After moving to Melbourne, I began visiting the snow—and realised snow gear wasn’t made for bodies like mine. Nothing fit properly.

The more I looked, the more I realised I wasn’t alone. In 2018, I started sketching ideas and speaking with the snow community. By 2022, Nobody’s Princess launched its first product: snow pants with a better fit, inclusive sizing, and thoughtful design.

What started as frustration became a mission. I bootstrapped the business, grew it through community feedback, and relied on surveys, late nights, and constant iteration.

I didn’t have a fashion background. I didn’t advertise heavily. I just listened, built slowly, and trusted my gut.

Today, Nobody’s Princess is stocked by 40+ retailers across Australia, NZ, Japan, and soon, the US and Canada. Our range now includes jackets and bibs—designed to support more women in snow sports.

This brand wasn’t born to be a business. It started with a question: Why isn’t this available for women like me?

Now, it’s a platform—one that makes women feel included, powerful, and confident on the slopes.
