“To fulfill my dream of owning a red car, I moved 10,000 km from home to Australia. It all started when I saw a picture of someone in Australia with a sleek red car, and I knew I had to make it mine. So, in 2001, I took the leap and embarked on this journey with a simple goal: to buy that red car.

After arriving in Sydney and completing my studies, I got my Permanent Residency and moved to Brisbane. There, I bought a delivery run (not a red car yet), working with Michel’s Patisseries. Life took a beautiful turn when I met my wife, a talented barista, during one of my deliveries. Unexpectedly our shared experiences in life brought us closer.

As life went, I released my interest for numbers so I decided to pursue further education at Griffith University and earned my CPA certification. This opened doors to a fulfilling career as a financial accountant in a multi-million-dollar company. Later, I transitioned into IT, implementing software for businesses big and small. It was a job I truly loved and would return to in a heartbeat.
“Over the years, I wore many hats, including MCing over 100 stage shows—a joy-filled experience. Today, I’m the Managing Director of an accounting firm and a digital marketing company. While I never imagined I’d enjoy managing people, I found immense joy in leading my teams, solving problems, and watching them thrive.

But my true passion lies in helping talented migrants adjust to life in Australia. Together with my wife, we launched a YouTube channel, ‘Indian Asks, Aussie Answers’, to bridge cultural gaps and support Indian migrants in their journey. With over 100k views on 30 videos, we’re proud to help others adapt and succeed in this foreign land.

Now, after 17 years of marriage, raising two amazing teenagers, and finally buying that red car for which I moved countries, I feel incredibly fulfilled. From that tiny dream to a life filled with purpose, I’m grateful for every step of the journey. Proud father, devoted husband, and owner of that long-awaited red car—life has come full circle.” Krish Ravipati, CPA
