Born and bred in Melbourne, I grew up during One Direction’s prime and you bet I was heavily involved in fandom culture. At 12, I started a One Direction Tumblr blog to distract myself from a boy, and it unexpectedly took off, amassing 35k followers. Unbeknownst to me, this is what would start my social media career.

After graduating in 2020 with a degree in Media and Communications from Swinburne University, I jumped into various social media and influencer marketing roles. One of my standout roles was at Rollie Nation, where I spearheaded their influencer program. Working with comedian Simon Taylor and talents like Harry Styles’ keyboard player Yaffra, were career highlights. My ambassador program called ‘Enemies of Gravity’ led to me winning Australian Influencer Marketing Council’s Trailblazer of the Year 2022 award.

Winning the award inspired me to forge my own path. In May 2023, I launched Tall Poppy Mgmt, a talent management and influencer marketing agency. Tall Poppy Mgmt was born out of a desire to bridge gaps in the industry and make a meaningful impact into the Australian media landscape. The influencer space (and particularly brand collaborations) often lack diversity, and I wanted to change that.

Simultaneously, I joined Music Victoria as a Marketing Coordinator, fulfilling another passion of mine—supporting the local music scene. It’s a rewarding behind-the-scenes experience that compliments my work at Tall Poppy Mgmt.

Tall Poppy Mgmt represents eight diverse talents, carving out a niche by giving a voice to the underrepresented. My dream is to make Tall Poppy Mgmt a full-time gig, expand the team, and see our talent shine on mainstream media projects. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for the younger generation and paving the way for a more inclusive media landscape.

I’m incredibly grateful for the support system around me and the talent that believes in my vision. Each new opportunity has come with valuable learnings, and I can’t wait to see what we can all achieve together in the years to come.
