“As a passionate educator in India, I always sought to grow and explore new opportunities in education. In 2012, I decided to move to Australia, arriving in Adelaide with permanent residency. The freedom and balance in the Australian education system struck me immediately.

The beginning was tough. I worked at a gas station, far from the luxurious life I once knew. I also worked at a radio station and within a few months, I secured a teaching contract.

Then, life changed in ways I couldn’t have imagined. My father became gravely ill, and I returned to India. In February 2017, I lost him. While trying to cope with that grief, I received the devastating news of my elder son’s passing just two months later. It was April 1st, and for a moment, I thought it was a cruel joke—but it wasn’t. My son had lost his battle with depression and my world crumbled.

The weight of losing my son was unbearable. I was at the peak of my personal and professional life working as principal of a school, and suddenly, everything was gone. The grief was too much to bear in India, surrounded by constant reminders of what I had lost.

In 2018, I returned to Australia, taking a teaching job in regional South Australia. There, I found the compassion, understanding, and support that helped me grow professionally and emotionally. By 2021, I secured a full-time permanent position as a teacher in Victoria.

This journey of loss and recovery inspired me to become a professionally qualified LIFE COACH. Today, I use structure based, holistic healing techniques to help people experience transformation and move from ‘Anxiety to Awakening’. This journey as a SOUL SURGEON, is now the purpose of my life.

Australia gave me the chance to grow, to learn, and to rebuild. My message to anyone facing loss is this: life is like a wave—full of ups and downs. It’s hard, but you can rise again. You just need to be brave enough and make your loss your strength.” Rima Madhur
